Ann Marie offers trauma-informed grief support through individual sessions and small-group healing circles, grounded in somatic therapy, nervous system science, lived experience and compassionate presence.


🌿Holistic Grief Support

You don’t have to carry the weight of grief alone or in a way that  overwhelms your nervous system or dims your capacity to live fully.


It’s possible to honour your loss while making room for steadiness, meaning and moments of lightness.  Healing does not require forgetting - it asks for support, presence and care.


🌿 GRIEF IS UNIVERSAL, YET DEEPLY PERSONAL

Grief is broader than we expect and it doesn’t always look the way we imagine. 


Sometimes it's the heartbreak of losing someone you love through death. 

Other times grief grows from losses that aren't always named or recognized, such as: 


  • The end of a relationship or marriage.
  • Estrangement from family or loved ones. 
  • Career disruption or job loss.
  • Developmental grief, missed dreams or versions of life you thought you would have. 
  • Burnout or prolonged emotional overload.
  • Health challenges, illness or loss of physical ability.
  • Identity shifts, loss of self or life-stage transitions.
  • Major life rupture or unexpected change.
  • Pregnancy, reproductive loss or abortion.
  • A fading sense of safety, purpose, direction or belonging.

Ann Marie’s signature grief programs offer a safe, compassionate somatic (mind-body-spirit) space to process emotions, work through loss and gently release what the body is holding - so you can move forward with greater clarity and steadiness. 


Through proven somatic and therapeutic practices, you’ll be supported in working through grief, fear and isolation while rebuilding self-trust and inner stability. 


With skilled, trauma-informed facilitation, you’ll learn to navigate uncertainty with presence rather than overwhelm.


This work supports you in honouring grief with more steadiness and less weight - allowing it to be carried in a way that feels grounded, true and sustainable for your life.


🌿 GENTLE PATHWAYS FOR HEALING AFTER LOSS

Ann Marie offers both individual and group somatic healing programs, because there is no single right way to move through grief - only the path that feels safest and most supportive for you. 


Private 1:1 Grief & Loss Support:

Private sessions are often the most stabilizing place to begin, especially during fresh or intense grief.  They offer a quiet, confidential space for personalized somatic healing, moving at your pace over multi-week series. 


Group Grief & Loss Support Programs:

Small-group healing circles offer connection, shared understanding and the relief of knowing you are not alone as you process and integrate your experience.  Support is available through both complimentary monthly somatic grief gatherings and longer multi-week healing circles for those ready to go deeper. 

 

Some people prefer to heal privately.

Some feel drawn to community.


Many choose a combination of both, using 1:1 sessions for deeper personal work alongside group space for connection and shared healing.

Private sessions offer individualized support to help you process grief in a way that honours your unique pace, tenderness and needs.  This is a quiet, confidential space to explore what your system is holding - physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually - with attuned, compassionate facilitation that meet you right where you are. 


While a single session can offer meaningful relief, true healing takes time.
Multi-session support allows your nervous system to settle gradually, emotions to soften and deeper integration to take place - supporting steady, lasting change.

Community matters in grief

This compassionate, somatic (mind–body-spirit) healing practice is designed to support emotional release, nervous system regulation and grounded human connection.


Within a small group, we create a respectful container where what you feel is allowed, acknowledged and held with dignity.  


There is no pressure, no performance and no expectation to be anything other than how you are.


You’ll be guided through a gentle sequence that may include a brief teaching, guided somatic meditation, journaling, supported sharing, a reflection, gentle movement and integration.  

 

Grief wants to be acknowledged and held in community.  

When grief is witnessed compassionately by others, it becomes easier to express, soften and release.  


This process supports your body and nervous system in working with what grief holds inside - physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually - helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust. 


These group sessions offer a safe and steady place to return to yourself, at your own pace and in your own way.

This monthly group offers a gentle, somatic-based session for men and women to honour loss in all its forms.  


This is a place to pause, breathe and be supported in community. 


Program Details:

  • When: First Monday of Every Month*  
  • Next Session: February 2, 2026
  • Time: 7 - 9 pm NL | 5:30 - 7:30 pm EST
  • Where: Online (Zoom) - Zoom meeting details are shared after your registration form is reviewed.
  • Registration is required for each session and closes 48 hours prior.
  • Space is limited - please cancel your registration if your plans change and you're unable to attend in order to make space for another person.

Coming Home is a small-group somatic healing circle for anyone carrying grief, emotional overload, burnout, identity loss or life rupture - for those who have been holding too much for too long and are ready to move beyond simply coping and begin gently healing.


This circle offers compassionate, steady support to help you release what grief and stress have been holding in your body, calm your nervous system and reconnect with yourself beneath the pain.


Over eight weeks of consistent, structured somatic work and gentle group support, this journey creates space for unspoken grief and emotional weight to soften and integrate - allowing real healing and steady transformation to unfold.

In this circle, you don’t have to be strong or perform resilience.
